Santander is rapidly expanding its CRM and marketing capabilities, and we are looking for a candidate to be part of our success story. As part of the Marketing Insight & Technology organization, this position will play a critical role by managing the front-end CRM sales and relationship tools backlog, with the objective of facilitating the behavioral changes required by the front end channels. By delivering new functionality and managing changes to current systems, this position will play a key role in improving sales productivity, growing the customer base, increasing customer satisfaction, and improving the team member and customer experience.

This position will lead in the design, documentation, testing, and implementation to ensure that the best tools and processes are in place to empower the network and channels to achieve their goals.


  • Combine knowledge of business needs and technology to create functional designs for in-house CRM applications

  • Manage all aspects of the development, implementation, testing, and ongoing maintenance of the front end CRM

  • Gather, review, and analyze requirements submitted by business users and subject matter experts to deliver to IT

  • Manage the timeline of product releases to ensure that changes are implemented on time and without issues

  • Review business priorities and analyze options and risks

  • Scope and participate on new projects that impact core CRM functionalities

  • Analyze the complexity of proposed changes and/or enhancements to CRM Sales Tools infrastructure

  • Liaise with Risk, Legal, and Compliance to ensure approvals for requirements and functionality

  • Ensure compliance with all Santander policies and regulatory requirements surrounding Information Security

  • Serve as the CRM and Sales Tools subject matter expert

  • Promote Agile principles



  • Bachelor's Degree required

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a product owner or business analyst role

  • Experience working with business users and writing User Stories for Agile IT teams

  • Experience with Agile and waterfall development methodologies

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and planning skills

  • Must work with the development and testing teams to ensure that they understand the requirements

  • Ability to manage relationships with multiple internal stakeholders and outside vendors

  • Ability to manage multiple scrum backlogs

  • Ability to propose solutions to help address business needs

  • Knowledge of CRM preferred

  • Agile certification and experience using Agile project management tools like JIRA, Trello, etc. a plus
