WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
The Market Director, Investments is responsible for the following:
Creating, managing and executing business sales strategies.
Proactively identifying prospects and cultivating relationships with customers.
Developing and implementing strategies to close business deals.
Making presentations to potential clients and assisting in growing and maintaining the client relationship.
Overseeing the company's operations and activities to ensure achievement of the company's strategies, current goals and long-term goals.
Developing and implementing strategic goals, objectives and assigned P&L responsibilities.
Setting, reviewing and meeting P&L targets and monitoring expenditures and resource allocation against budget and goals.
Allocating and managing resources (e.g., people, processes and capital) to meet company objectives.
Developing and implementing business strategy and policies that impact financial and operational performance.
Essential Functions/Responsibility Statements:
Provides Financial Advisors with all necessary training concerning operations, sales skills, sales reporting, product knowledge, and compliance.
Maintains required professional training and license requirements, including knowledge of NASD compliance, FDIC compliance, the Bank's uninsured Products Policy Statement and all applicable state and federal regulations.
Works with management team to develop and execute business plans in accordance with Santander Investments objectives related to the marketing and distribution of Investment products and services throughout the branch network.
Develops strong relationships with internal business partners by providing program updates, participating in meetings, and responding to concerns.
Qualifications:
- Licenses/Certifications: FINRA licenses Series 7 and 66, or 7 and 63 and 65 and Series 24 as well as appropriate state insurance licenses required.

Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Work Experience: 7+ years; Investment Service.

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.
