Description

This position would be responsible for origination and execution of trade transactions within our Trade & Working Capital Solutions team. The product set includes traditional products such as standby letters, working capital credit lines, accounts receivables discounting, supply chain finance and other structured trade transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Achievement of assigned revenue budget through the execution of structured trade transactions with the US subsidiaries of our European clients operating in the US market.

  • Negotiate transactions with clients, external legal advisors and auditors and manage execution process for trade finance related transactions.

  • Client management, including but not limited to updating offerings, follow up on existing facilities and internal reports.

  • Identify potential inbound trade business opportunities with European clients.

  • Development of new products for the department and interaction with Head Quarters for the approval of the new initiatives

  • Build relationships and collaborate with members in the Global Trade Finance Teams in Head Quarters, Corporate Banking departments, middle office and back office.

  • Assist in the approval process of Structured transactions not only with local risk team but also with global team in Head Quarters

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, accounting or equivalent education, preferably in an international business school. MBA is a plus.

  • 7-10 years of work experience in the front office of a corporate bank or trade finance department preferred.

  • International bank with Latam and European link is a plus.

  • Client facing experience with large cap companies.

  • Executing Trade and Transactional Services transactions for global markets.

  • Structuring Trade Finance solutions in the form of movement and financing or Receivables and Trade Loans.

  • Knowledge of portfolio Modelling

  • Knowledge of legal trade documentation

  • Experience in Insurance Credit Market (analysis of insurance policies)

  • Knowledge of Trade Finance Products such as Letters of Credit, Accounts Receivable and Supply Chain financing required.

  • Experience in multi-tasking and coordinating with external customers as well as with internal team (CIB, Legal, risk, Compliance)

  • Familiar with distribution techniques as well as secondary market options for Trade assets would be desirable.

  • Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and the ability to execute complex transactions effectively and in a timely manner.
