Description

The Consumer Loan Servicing Specialist II is responsible for the day to day servicing functions. The Specialist may be responsible for some or all of the many key functions such as mail processing, written payoff quotes, entering issues and completing tasks in the customer tracking database, analyzing statement files, creating documents for Submission of Remedies.

Responsibilities

  • Process bulk mailing by preparing and processing through mail/stuffer equipment for all servicing departments

  • Create word docs for remedies for system challenges we discover as they pertain to payoff quotes and statement issues

  • Process NCP approval for statement generation and verification

  • Enter any issues that we receive directly from customers into the Customer Database (CARE) for resolution by other Consumer Loan Servicing departments

  • Process and resolve functions related to Admin from the Customer Database (CARE)

  • Process all customer incoming mail for servicing

  • This includes redirecting incorrect mail, process return mail for statements, loc check orders, and coupon books

  • Process requests for written payoff quotes requested by Title Companies, Attorneys Other lenders, branches, LPOs, Contact Center, direct customer request and other business partners

Qualifications

  • 12-24 Months of business experience required

  • Banking experience preferred

  • Ability to pay attention to detail and meet deadlines

  • Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours during peak volume times

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Duties are performed in an office environment

  • Physical demands could involve any or all of the following: digital dexterity and hand/eye coordination in the operation of office equipment; light to moderate lifting (10-20 lbs.) and carrying of supplies, files, etc;

  • The ability to speak to and hear customers and/or other employees both telephone calling and in person; and body motor skills sufficient to enable the incumbent to move from one office location to another

  • This is a contingent on call position allowing the team member to earn a supplemental income while achieving a work/life balance. This flexible work schedule is based upon peak volume periods and planned absences of full time team members while considering your personal needs and obligations. Hours may vary with a maximum of 999 hours available annually.
